Why is it important to learn the truth? John 8:47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God. 1. Truth is the indicator ot your connectedness with God. Our heavenly Father is the source of truth. Jesus represented the truth through his life. The Holy Spirit teaches us in all truth. If you are connected with Him, you must be living in truth. 2. Truth is aquired by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Hold on to his teaching. Do not try to look for another message, only what Jesus preached and taught. 3. Truth brings freedom from spiritual slavery. The devil is father of lies. He is the author of ignorance. Everyone who sins is slave to sin.  We need to seek the truth. Learn and get it. Search for it and pray for understanding.

How to gain our spiritual eyesight back? John 9:39 Jesus said, "For judgement I have come into the world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind. All humans were spiritually blinded by this dark world. Jesus knows we need help. He gae some ways for us to see again. 1. We need to be humble. By accepting the reality that we are weak and God is strong, e are giving Him the chance to take over our lives. We've been lost. We've been sinful. We are bound to eternal doom. Humility allows God to be Lord of your life again. He knows you need Him. 2. We need to have faith. You cannot receive Him unless you believe. Faith is what it takes to obey. Faith pleases the Lord. Faith is believing the impossible. Faith makes you see the things that are unseen. Manifestations of God's wonders will come when we believe. We know that we need to have these two things in us.
