PURSUING KINGDOM RIGHTEOUSNESS
There are still existing monarchies around the world
nowadays. Some have authorities over large masses of land and others only
small. Some are powerful, others are for titles and ceremonial things only.
Whatever forms of government we can observe nowadays, we humans have been
looking for the true righteous government on earth. We been through different
leaderships and experienced righteousness but sometimes the opposite. Some
people likes government while others are angry or doesn’t care at all.
The Bible teaches us to pursue righteousness as a standard of
God’s government. The verse in Matthew 6:33 KJV says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you.” The word righteousness is dikaiosyne in
Greek means to justice, fulfillment of the law, and the business of a judge. It
carries the sense of virtue but specifically that of fulfilling legal or social
requirements. To live righteously, there are principles we need to consider.
Firstly, we need to do an opposition. There are things in life that doesn’t align to
God’s will to be our way of life. We need to oppose any worries about sustenance.
Although we know that it is a basic need to survive, to have a negative
attitude is something we must take away from us. Our clothing is important but
it is something that can be provided when we understand and do what the Lord
wants us to do.
The kingdom of God teaches all right principles for us to
follow. By doing so, His promise of provision is just normal. Sometimes we seek
first the provisions and fail to understand the cause of it. Oppose the
attitude of worry and replace it with trust on the One who can provide and
sustain all our needs.
Secondly, we need to do an investigation. Making research is not easy. It is also
something that makes God happy when we inquire and seek of His will so that He
can show us the way. Try to observe the nature. It expresses the glory of
its Maker. They don’t have the same life worries like we do but Their Creator
sustained their lives and let them live with beauty and order. Desire for a
complete trust. In any relationship, trust is important. God wants us to
trust Him because that’s what He deserves. Those who wanted to rely on God’s
power and the promises in His word are blessed. They were able to use the key
to unlock God’s supernatural work in their lives.
There are things in life that we still don’t know. Don’t give
up searching. As long as we are alive, there are answers to questions and
solutions to problems. Most importantly, when we seek to understand God’s word,
it gives us the proper direction in living a worthwhile life.
Lastly, we need to do the prioritization. Those we prioritize are considered most
important. We consider them receiving the best of our attention and even
resource. When we begin looking at the Source, the resources will follow. There
is nothing He cannot do as long as we allow Him to do so. But when we refuse to
humble ourselves before Him, then what He can do for us is being blocked. The spiritual
world will only manifest when we give it permit to operate. Our prayers our
permission we give to the spiritual world to move and show things according to
the supernatural possibilities.
The things we see in the natural world is not the reality God
wants us to live by. This broken system destroyed by ignorance will only be
real to us when we accept it. That is why we were atoned by Christ so that the
pattern of darkness can no longer have effect in us.
Every blessing God promised are only result of righteousness
by obeying His laws. By the righteousness that Christ imputed to us, we can
already live as He is. When we still believe in the lie that we are still
unrighteous, sometimes we even keep on highlighting each other’s weaknesses, we
cannot receive overflowing blessings in different aspects. That is why,
everything must start in our mindset because it is where our belief comes from.
When we have the right mindset, right results will follow.
